Sudden Death of Rob Simpson, Managing Director SCA Timber Supply

It is with shock and regret that SCA Timber Supply UK has announced the sudden and untimely loss of its Managing Director, Robert Simpson.
Rob suffered a fatal heart attack in the afternoon of Tuesday 16th October at the company's Stoke-on-Trent offices. The unexpected and swift nature of this loss will be felt not just by staff at SCA but by people across the trade. Rob Simpson was a well-known figure in the industry. SCA has extended its heartfelt and sincere sympathies to his widow and family.
John White, Chief Executive of the Timber Trade Federation said: “On behalf of the Timber Trade Federation and all its members I would like to extend our sympathy and condolences to Rob's family. We are all extremely shocked and saddened at this news. Rob was a great champion of the timber sector and a truly inspirational figure. He will be missed by me personally and all of us across the trade.”
