Glued Laminated Timber Association Signs Timber Industry Accord

The Glued Laminated Timber Association (GLTA) has added its strength and support to the UK Timber Industry Accord.
Signing the Accord, Chris Mettem, Chair of the GLTA said:
"The GLTA has, for twenty five years, been at the forefront of promoting timber as a primary structural material. We welcome the Accord’s move toward more coordinated efforts throughout the industry supply chain which we are confident will have mutually supportive benefits for all."

The Glued Laminated Timber Association is an independent trade association representing the leading UK companies in the Glulam industry. Members of the Association provide a comprehensive design, supply and erection service for beams, arches, portal frames and trusses, together with associated materials.
