The coniferous plywood quota commences on 1 January and remains at a ceiling of 650,000 m3 for import to all 27 European Union member countries (EU 27).
Coniferous plywood imported within the quota is duty free and rises to 7% after the quota has been exhausted. In order for shipments to qualify under the Coniferous Plywood Quota they must meet the specific description of coniferous throughout plywood.
