Packaging Waste and the timber industry

The Timber Trade Federation and Biffpack aim to develop a project on packaging waste and the obligations within the timber industry. Information collected can then be used to determine individual companies obligations under the Packaging Waste Directive. An information seminar will be hosted by the TTF to advise members of their packaging waste obligations and to recruit interested members in the project.

Wessex Timber Trade Association Created

On Thursday 14 February 2002, the Hants & Dorset Timber Trade Association voted to change their name to the Wessex Timber Trade Association with a view to having a much more extensive geographical area from which to draw members. The Association will be having their annual dinner on Friday 10 May 2002 at the Bournemouth Hilton Hotel.

TTF Parliamentary Dinner

The Timber Trade Federation hosted a dinner in the House of Commons for eighteen members on Wednesday 27 February 2002. The dinner was hosted by David Ruffley MP and gave members the opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest to the industry.
