56% of wood and wood products imported into the UK in 2005 were certified according to a study published this week by the Timber Trade Federation. But demand for certified timber was only 10%. Click Here

The Department for International Development this week announced the award of a £368,000 grant to the Timber Trade Federation to fund a three-year programme of activities aimed at tackling illegal logging and trade in illegally-produced timber products. Click Here
